1980's Bottecchia: worth a restoration?

I talked to a guy selling a Bottecchia bike that is 21 yrs old and basically unridden. It has columbus tubing (not sure what type), what I can identify as a campy 990 rear derailleur and some other campy parts. I have only seen pics and talked with the seller on the phone.
Is this bike worth the time? It is not the fancy chromed, script logo, c-record version but of course I have soft spot for all frames italian and lugged.
take a look:

Any ideas on price?!
thanks!

I have the exact same white Bottecchia. It's an '84 or so with Aelle tubing and Ofmega/Campy parts. I love it and yes if you can get it for around $250...buy it.

I don't know how to post pics....! otherwise I'll show you mine.

Nice bike wlennon! But don't forget to HAGGLE! I would start at $50-$100, just to test the waters.
But yeah, $250 wouldn't be too bad either.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Good luck!

Wow, your restoration looks amazing! Definitely is worth the effort and the haggle! I'll post up when it's purchased...
