*sigh* alright... chainguard install question...
I got a phillips 3 speed a few months ago at a garage sale (for free). Since my gf didn't have a bike, I decided to gift it to her and fix it up.
I ordered a chainguard from a website... but didn't get any hardware to mount the damn thing.
any recommendations on what I could pick up at a hardware store?? I checked the website and it doesn't mention the inclusion of mounting hardware
Any help would be appreciated

You presumably need some coated P-clamps, either stock or self-made from a metal strip+heat shrink. Details depend on the guard and there is no guarantee that the specific guard will match the specific bicycle.

ahh... i thought that would be a solution. the chainguard seems to be the correct size, but now I have another question:
where should I put these clamps? I know the back end of the chainguard can be fixed onto the rear triangle by the dropouts, but where should I fix the front end onto? seattube? downtube?
my apologies if I'm not making myself clear... it's been a while since I've really used BF
