Tire swapping question
I ride 700x32C tires, and I'm thinking of swapping them for 28's, or even 25's. Will I have a brake adjustment to do if I proceed with this plan?

Not unless your brakes are now rubbing on your tires instead of the rims like they should.

No no no!
You must buy a completely new bike!
We are not going to let you get away with just putting thinner tires on your present bike.

Check Sheldon Brown's site for whether tire width may be too narrow for your rims, bit other than that, it should be a trick free swap.

You may also need tubes. Strongly suspect what you have for the 32mm will be too wide (fat) for the 25mm.

Get that CF bike, Gary. Christmas has come and gone, soon there won't be any easy excuses. Now you can still figure it was a present that somebody forgot. bk

You want a rougher ride and less reliability than what you now have? On the other hand, you'll be a little zippier.

Almost as important as changing the tyres- Look at the actual tyre you will get-- Do you need puncture resistance- Are your roads very slick and you need a good gripping tyre or do you want to get an extra 2mph from racing grade rubber?
Darn it= Another question coming from Gary about Tyre manufacturers so get your answers prepared.
