Hello from down south'

Got back on bike at 55 years of age now 61,wish I had done it long time ago. Wife joined me four years ago and this has made it even more fun. We ride road bikes, she got new(pink) Orbea Diva for Christmas and I ride Trek 5200. We did a little over 5000 miles this year looking forward to another. When I started at 55 weighed 216lbs. now 179 what a great sport.

Hi Jimmy,

Welcome to BF. Where's "down south"?

Your story sounds exactly like mine. I too started riding "again" at 55. Big weight loss too. I'm now 62 and feel like a kid most days when I'm on the bike.
