Colorado Brevet Series

Anyone else thinking about doing some Brevets?

A buddy of mine and I are planning doing a 200k & 300k for sure this year. I joined RMCC in preperation of these rides.

Cool.

I was thinking of doing the Denver 2 Aspen and the Peak 2 Peak/Estes again this summer. I've never done more than a 300k brevet.

I've done the D2A twice and the P2P/E once with RMCC. Expect a really small group to assemble for the 4:00 am start which means there's a lot of opportunity for loneliness all day long. I think it's really good to have a small team or at least a partner to work the draft and mix in some conversation.

Loneliness sucks after several hours, atmo.

I'm doing brevets this year! 200k and 300k minimum, but I think I'll try for the 400k and 600k, too! May as well go all out and REALLY try to kill myself on the bike, right?

Works for me. I'm gonna do most of the rides on their list. (Well, try, anyway!)

4:00 AM!?! Ah, well... who needs sleep, anyway?

Looking for to it! Of course, once we start, I'll be the guy in your rear-view mirror, if you use one...
