Shoe Cover Size Question

I am thinking of getting a pair of Performance shoe covers. I am unsure about the sizing. What size fits properly on a Sidi Theta 45 Mega and the Sidi Bullet II 45 Mega?

Or more generally how do the sizes run (ie. does the 11 fit over a size 11 MTB shoe)?

I bought 2 sizes larger for my road shoes. There is no way it'll fit over any of my MTB shoes.

From my experience, most shoe covers run small. I'm wearing "large" neoprene booties over my little men's size 7 shoes.

I have the large Amfib covers, and they can be coaxed over my 44 size mtb shoes. It's a HUGE hassle, but possible. If I had it to do over, I would definitely go a size larger.

Not sure on the Performance covers, but I use a pair of Sidi Dominator Megas in size 45 and Pearl Izumi Amfib cover in large. They fit perfectly, not too tight, not too loose.

When I was shopping for covers, I brought my shoes in with me and tried on many types and sizes. The PI seemed the best, however I do find I may be using them Left/Right swapped, which isn't a big deal. I find it easier to put on when the zipper is on the inside of my foot.

If I were to do it over again, I would go with a size larger. The PIs I have (just acquired a few months ago) are falling apart. Every time I put them on, I hear another seam give.
