Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

do I really need to explain why threads are being locked or trashed?

look at how incendiary they become or how void of information they are. Off topic crap or things that get too personal/insulting/etc will be moved or locked.

That is the way things operate around here, as per the Forum owner. There was a time when threads were informative and entertaining to more than just one or two people. Now, I have no clue how half this trash is related to cycling in ANY form.

I am all for a laugh and some fun, but the same pointless crap over and over again is a bit much. I am not speaking for solely for myself, but for the people who have asked me to consider closing/moving/ediuting threads in here.

There's only so much new equipment and n00b Qs. I agree some people get a little carried away, but I usually expect them to let it drop because this is still the internet. Besides, most of these peoplejust go on here during work hours anyway, right?
