First Ride Back after layoff.
Gawd I've turned into a whiner.
I haven't ridden in about 3 months for a myriad of excuses.
I braved a cold windy day today to grind out a manly 12 miles.
I've got work to do before spring.
I hate winter.

Hey, that's impressive. I took 3 weeks off the bike due to some surgery last Fall, and my first ride back was only 2 miles! And that was in 55° weather! You'll be fine.
