Any helpfull people around Sarasota/St Pete area?
I bought my girlfriend a vintage bike for valintines day. Shes gonna love it! One problem though.. it needs some work.
I took it to a bike shop and the guy wanted 90$ to tighten the brakes and oil everything. My jaw did drop.
It needs minor minor work. I'll be happy to pay $20 if anyone wants to take a look at it, I'll drive it down to the persons place. Thanks!

I don't know about individuals, but my favorite shop for service is ABC Bikes on Central ave. in St. Pete. It's not a hardcore "roadie" shop, so everyone there is very nice and non-judgmental. The prices are fair and are on display above the service area with a description of what you get for your $$$. I think a basic tune up is $25-$35 plus whatever parts you replace.
