Good Price for this used Trek??

2001 Trek 4500 for $230??

Current owner purchased in 2001 and has been hanging in his garage since then. He estimate less than 20 hours use and wear on tires (and overall condition) indicate he is telling the truth.

Thanks

any pictures available. is it on ebay. ebay sallers usually use those catch words to draw customer attention, such as "like new", "only rode twice", etc. etc.....

but, then there are people who represent the products honestly. if you are sure this is a honest description, go for it. but, I would try to make him come down to $200.

It's for sale locally so I'll have a chance to check it out in person before the sale.

That bike new is in the high 400s (correct me if I'm wrong). It is 6 years old.... in car depreciation terms, it should be worth around 150.
