which is a better bike??

Hello,
I want to know which is technically a better, faster, lighter, best gearing components combination for triatholons and bike racing. I have found 3 bikes on ebay and another from a website. I am currently on a Giant ocr1 that has done over 2,000km and nearly time to upgrade. Giant cost $1450.

Bike 1 OLMO DYNAMIC - BY NAME AND BY NATURE. This is a very nice frame and fork set, built with quality componenty and a bargain clearance price - all brand new. The olmo frame is built from light weight alloy with carbon rear stays. The fork is complete carbon - including the steerer. ritchey wcs bar and stem give superior strength and light weight. The group set is shimano ultegra 9 speed, and the wheels are shimano 550's. Great bike and dirt cheap - Geometry - this is "large" - 50cm c to c seat tube (55cm c to top)- actual top tube is 56cm and effective top tube is 57.5cm good luck. Cost $2000 AussieDollar

Bike 2 CYTEK ROAD BIKE - LIGHT WEIGHT 7000 SERIES DOUBLE BUTTED ALLOY FRAME WITH INTEGRATED FSA HEADSET, CARBON REAR SEAT STAYS AND OVER SIZED STIFF CHAIN STAYS. BUILT WITH FULL SHIMANO ULTEGRA 10 SPEED COMPONENTRY (That's right, Ultegra STI levers, brake calipers, cranks and b/b, front derailer, rear derailer, chain and cassette) - NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO THIS ON PRICE! VINCOLO ALLOY ANATOMICAL BARS, FOUR BOLT HEADSTEM AND SEAT POLE ARE GREAT PRODUCTS. VUELTA COMP WHEELS WOULD BE EASILY SUITED ON A HIGHER LEVEL BIKE - SEMI AERO RIMS WITH MACHINED SIDE WALLS, BLADED SPOKES FOR DURABILTY AND STIFFNESS, HASSLE FREE HUBS. VITTORIA ZAFFIRO CERTAINLY LOOK AFTER THE TYRE SIDE OF THINGS WITH A FAST YET DURABLE RIDE. WHAT A GREAT PACKAGE - YOU DO SEE SIMULAR BIKES ARROUND - BIKE HAS BEEN FULLY ASSEBLED AND ADJUSTED BEFORE IT IS BOXED. SO ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PUT THE FRONT WHEEL ON, PUT THE SEAT POLE IN AND ADJUST THE HANDLE BARS. At least two of those are Aussie only (Cytek and Cell,) so you'll no response from the seppos.

The Cytek and Cell bikes will most likely be built up from generic Taiwanese frames with their brand name on them. Nothing in particular wrong with that though.

Felt is a run of the mill seppo brand, and Olmo is a mid-range Italian brand.

In fact all of the frames are likely to be built in Taiwan. All of them seem to have about the same level of componentry, so there's not much between them.

Best advice is to go and ride them and make sure you get measured for the right size bike.

Depending what groupset and wheels you have on the OCR1, the bikes you've listed won't be much of an upgrade to what you currently have. At 2000km also it will have barely worn in... The only reason I would suggest the upgrade is if you have outgrown it.

All the frames will be quite similar in performance, other than perhaps sloping or horizontal toptube and minor angle differences.

Of what is listed, I would recommend the 10 speed Ultegra over the Olmo with 9 speed just because 10 speed has become the standaerd and should stay so for some time.

Rather than buying online, better to frequent your local bike shops who stock the bikes you are interested in and wait till the June sales or whenever the shop is about to bring in the new years models. As good savings can be had on last years floor stock. Also having a local shop onside will help with fitting and repairs...
