LED Generator Platform Pedal

Found these the other day (sorry about any seizures).
They have a generator, and it spins easily. The lights stop as soon as the pedal is no longer in motion.
I haven't mounted them yet, but spinning them in your hand they are about 2/3 as bright as one of those little MEC turtle LED blinkies.

click the pedal for where I found them.

But they're platform pedals.

How would I use those with toeclips?

I guess you would have to go the old stone cutter route.

They do feel like $25 pedals, but that's no worse than the ones that came with my Giant, and these light up. If I get more than a year's service out of them (and they seem like they will hold that long) I won't feel ripped off.

There is also these...

https://www.pedalite.com/product.php

I have looked at them before, but they look a bit 'plastic' to me... but they do stay on for 5 mins after the bike has stopped.

Not really.

Also there are some cheap (but not much cheaper) imitations out there.

They are on the worksman page, right ?
I like them !
On my ride in my co-workers who pass me in thier cars comment on how
the reflectors on my pedals look when Im spinning down the hill so Im sure
pedal lights could be seen even better.
