OK So Chariots Ruled this Weekend at MBW4
Basically, chariots are hardened versions of trailers, all of the winners this weekend were light and strong; wheels and hitches were weak points on those that failed. There are some pictures floating around, Dan shot a lot of video, I expect footage of chariots to keep surfacing for a while, keep your eye out for it. The Canadians were brutal in the chariot wars, their machine was tough, and they played it like a hockey game - hit 'em hard then hit em again, eh? The shopping cart went the distance too, as did a few other models.

The Chariot battle was one of the most intense bicycle events I've ever seen.
...and the whiplash was absolutely hilarious. Maitland should get bonus points for having his chariot full of empties.

that is ridiculous and i love it!!!!!!! hey randya, in june there is a gravity festival - the biggest in n. america planned for 07 so far - in washington a few hours from portland. ill prolly come to that and race my gravity bike, if i do ill prolly take the opportunity to hit a zoo bomb run on my gravity-kroozer and show off the g-bike to the bombers since they appreciate alternative bikes. fast eddie outty

Hope you make it Eddie! We're planning a zoobomb drunked cheerleading squad to come watch the race! (it's to spendy for us to enter)
If it all works out, we'll round up folks from the festival to come back to PDX on sunday night to bomb!
We're also taking a zoobomb fieldtrip to maryhill in a few weeks.
I love maryhill....

First there was a game of 'whiplash' where the chariot riders would tie bungee's around their waists, then ride past each other and have a tug-o-war, where someone eventually would fly through the air.
After all that fun, we convoyed them out to a Post Apocalyptic wasteland and they battled.
Check out my friend Simon's Videos of the carnage:
