As a lot of you know, I ride a bike with a 20" toptube and I still want to replace my frame. I'm having trouble finding bikes out here with 20-20.1" toptubes. Anybody know of any? The Seshin Liger looks promising.

I tried a bike with a 20.2TT a week ago, couldn't really manual so the Mosca is out.

Manualing is more the backend length and such...not the toptube.

Shorter backends are easier to get in to manuals and easier to loop out. Longer is the opposite.

I'm still standing with the...the tt length doesn't effect manuals as much as the back end length does.

It's decent, but I wouldn't mind changing it for something different. I don't have any problems with it.

Good frame, nice short chainstays but the drop outs are really tiny and make a normal chain a pain in the ass to set up. plus for the size it's kinda heavy, 5.5lbs. Ugly as sin to, the seatstay junction is hideous.

Most people like it.

When I get a new frame I will.

Alot better.

from 4-6lbs.

from 23-34lbs.

So, does anybody know of some smaller frames with 20" toptubes?

Those are wide margins. I'd say most frames weigh between 5-5.5 pounds nowadays, and an average bike weighs around 27 or 28 pounds.

Bikes: STANDARD 250L , OLMO fixed gear

the take one true ave has a 20.2 and so does the fly mosca
standard also makes their frames in a 20" tt

just look around, most frames come in a variety of sizes. anything you get new will be a shorter rear end than the heaton more than likely.. so manualing will be easier ect. more responsive.

I actually looked around more tonight and found these:

Eastern Dragon.
Fit Hawk.
Hoffman Loyalty.
Standard 250-L.
Seshin Liger.

All of them are 20" and have longer rear ends then the MacNeil.

Longer rear ends make manuals harder.

Never said I did, I was saying to Sbc that they aren't necessarily shorter.

No they don't. They make it harder to loop out because your front end will be lower. I can manual just fine with my wheel all the way back in my dropouts.

Maybie its just personal preference then. I cant even stand haveing my wheel at the back of the drop out, it has to be slamed to the frame.

I think my bike has an about average length back end, but I've ridden bikes with longer and i found manuals a lot harder.
