Work in bike shop under +18 ?
Hey!
I am a Polish citizen and I am sixteen years old. I am going to fly to the London, or Leeds or Liverpool in 17st June 2007 and I going to look for a job in bike shop. But I am worried that employers in the United Kingdom would not like to employ a young person from other country.
I will be looking for a job in a bike shop or in a bike service because I love bikes and have an experience in this kind of work.
Please let me know whether or not I have any chance to find a job in bike shop/service as sales assistant, mechanic, assistant mechanic, warehouse assistant or hire person?

It's probably best to check out the scene once you're here. All depends on what experience you have. I've come across plenty of foreign guys and gals working in bike shops here. Check out Evans Cycles - they're the biggest bike shop chain in the UK. Also, I hear that wiggle.co.uk is getting pretty big - might be worth sending them your CV.
Hope that helps
