Potassium?

One trick I learned from my brother is to eat bananas to cure leg cramps. He said bananas have Potassium in them and help when you start to get legs cramps. Iv done it for years now, and yes it works, and it works the same day you eat bananas.

Thanks, Smelly, for providing me with yet another justification for my on-the-road banana consumption: not only do they taste well, are they convenient to eat, giving almost instant energy, and can they be employed as assault weapons; banana's also keep the cramps away. Never knew that. I always thought I wasn't pushing hard enough.

How does eating possum alleviate leg cramps. Back on the island we ate possum and were happy to do so, but the island was a clean environment. Since moving to the mainland we've found that eating possum is generally frowned upon as the possum is a scavenger that carries disease and who knows what else. I still don't understand how eating possum cures ..... What's that you say???? Potassium???? Not Possum********** ..... Uhm .......Oh......Nevermind!

No a banana digests fairly rapidly that is why they are popular with cyclists.
