Soymilk?

I just came back from an awesome ride downtown with my friend, we were out almost 2 hours and I didn't eat anything before the ride since lunch, so I've been starving. I'm drinking soymilk right now, and I'm thinking, this stuff has got to be the best natural replenisher...it's got carbs, protein, and water. It also doesn't have all the lactose related problems of milk (I'm not lactose intolerant but that **** will make you sick).

Anyways, any of you guys drink soymilk?

i think the plain and vanilla stuff is pretty bad, but i am a big fan of chocolate soy milk, especially peppermint chocolate vitasoy. For the most part, i prefer rice milk, though.

I love soy milk. It tastes much better than real milk to me.
(real milk kinda creeps me out).

i don't think chocolate syrup is vegan, but i really have no idea. rice milk with cereal ftw. if you've never had it, it's kind of like horchada (sp), which can be found at mexican restaurants. tasty tasty.

But my in-laws freak out hard when I say I drink soy.
They reckon it makes my swimmers stop swimming.

I have oral allergy syndrome and can't have most vegan stuff, raw veggies, some raw fruits, and raw nuts (it's a certain enzyme in there). Soy milk makes my throat swell up and then I puke all over the place. I think it tastes like crap anyways.

I like rice dream a little, but love real milk (vitamin D with all the milk fat).

Soymilk is soooo delicious. I love chocolate especially. I have to have unsweetened though, because I dislike the sugars they put in. Eck.

Wow that's exactly what I was going to write. My friend made his own, and it was even better than store bought.

I like soy milk a lot, but it doesn't work in coffee for some reason.

Chocolate soymilk with rice crispies. It's like eating a bowl of Hershey bar.

Soymilk is my favorite! Especially vanilla and chocolate Silk. I can't even stand the taste of real milk anymore. One day I didn't have any Silk, so I used some of my mom's regular milk in a bowl of cereal and I couldn't even eat it.

Have you considered getting a blog?

Unless soymilk suddenly has something to do with bicycles - fixed gear or singlespeed specifically...

who cares, no need to be a dick.

and his discussion of the nutritional benefits of soymilk definitely IS related to riding bikes if you ride bikes, like soymilk, and care about replenishing your body.

Soy and rice milk are both awesome. I love tofu too. When I used to ride my road bike on longer rides i would drink chocolate soy milk as a replenisher after rides and it worked great.
