Walmart Bike Catalogue....

So, we get the paper every day at work, and today we got a bunch of flyers, one was the Walmart Bike Catalogue. Was flicking through it having a bit of a laugh.

I flicked to the "Rigid Suspension" () page, and noticed something very strange. The model kid on the walmart bike was wearing a Catlike Whisper.

I burst out laughing and mentioned to a few coworkers that the helmet costs more than any bike in the catalogue.

I saved the page and i am going to scan it to this thread.

I'm supposing that they're not selling the catlike helmet either?

I dont think there are many places in the U.S that sell Catlike.

I got a Catlike Kompact from ProbikeKit.

I think that helmet actualt does fit into the brain seive catagory, it has more open space than helmet. To be honest it isn't the best looking helmet I've seen but I find it funny that a Walmart catalogue has a guy wearing one of them. I from the sounds of it it is a high quality helmet, what rider would stoop to the level of advertising a Walmart bike?

You know, I've often wondered why Pacific Cycle's Schwinn and Mongoose pages don't seem to have ANY of the models sold at Wal Mart

The look of that helmet makes me want to (if I were to have one in person) throw it out the window or smash it into tiny pieces. I don't know what it is, but it looks kind of gross... like some kind of mutated being. I'd do to it what I do to spiders... freak out and crush them.

At least those rigid suspension bikes don't come with some cheap lawsuit pending poorly designed cheaply built blow apart suspension fork. Now, those front suspension bikes just scream suspension fork parts being yard saled at any moment....

Rigid suspension is accomplished through the knobbies front and rear....

I roll on 1/4" Maxxis Larsen TT rigid suspension....
