There aren't any, lots of people actually ride brakeless.

You get better and it's less stuff to go wrong on the bike.

if you are dumb enough to hit a car, you shouldn't ride a bike in the first place... cars should run into you, not you into cars... and you learn a lot about control of your bike brakeless, and it is still relatively easy to stop your bike.

I see. how would you stop it? foot in the back tire? drag them on the ground? you got me convinced to take off my brakes after a while.

Foot in the back tire or feet on the ground both work. You just told me how you don't want to do it and why you would not do it, and then you are convinced? I don't think it takes much to convince you. You are just starting out, you don't need to take your brakes off yet. How old are you?

You should always ride naked, so that you can dangle your balls in the back tire to stop.

haha. It's not that I'm convinced easily. I was joking at first, after hearing it, having no brakes would teach you a lot about control of your bike.

How were you joking at first? That was not a quotation of a man who was joking, but of a man who was serious and seemed to be totally against taking off his brakes due to safety issues. I can't find the ignore button, somebody help me out.

Yeah, I figured it out, it doesn't go like that anymore; you have to click to see their profile and then select "ignore". Thanks.

Pros: You can stop, you're not a trend *****
Cons: You're not cool, and you can't stop. But you look cool and save almost a pound!

Technically you dont run brakeless, you are running orchids size 9 instead of a u-brake,and the pads cost a lot more to replace lol

Actually, I run size 10.5's. I need new ones though. I'm finally wearing them for the first time after them sitting in my room for 9 months and they no longer fit so well.
