Spin wheels/rims
anyone remember "spin"? I believe these wheels and rims were popular in the early and mid 90's..
Any info if they made 700c rims? I have seen old stock rims at sale on my LBS...
I'm not sure if its original 'coz I am not familiar w/ the brand.. But I have seen Spins on MTBs, but not on road bikes though...
Thanks.. I thought I should consult you guys before I end up with an overpriced(even though its on sale) rim w/c may be fake(remarked). [it would be overpriced, in fact unusable, if it was fake, and a great deal if its an original]

I knocked a rear Spin wheel out of true test riding a GT Avalanche Pro about 6 years ago going off a curb. I never reccomended them or did anything else with them after that.

The ones I have seen, 700c, have a proprietary freehub which might be hard to find nowadays.

SPIN definitely made 700c wheels. I used to own a set until I blew the back wheel apart hitting a pothole.
I believe they are OOB as of now, so replacment parts are probably scarce.
