do any clips work with MKS gr9s?
I have a set, and I dig them, but the clip screw holes seem to be in a strange place, at least for the clips that I own. should I look for different clips?

don't the gr-9s have the holes on the underside of the pedal as opposed to the front? those clips are designed for pedals with holes on the front, and they won't work without being bent 90 degrees...
or maybe i'm thinking the gr-9s are something else.

it says they run great with mks mini clips so it's probably just an issue or some clips have more adjustable hole placement, the mks steel clips have pretty wide screw holes.

I'm always astonished by the amount of misinformation that Bikeforums occasionally creates.
You can run any standard clip (with the 90 degree bend and two holes) on GR-9s. THREAD OVER.

as long as we're on gr9s how do they compare in smoothness and strength to the other lower end mks pedals?

I've had mine with regular MKS steel clips for about three years now. They're great and don't tear up soft-soled shoes.
Swing by Northeast Cycles. Ken has a bunch in stock, I'm pretty sure. Shouldn't be more than $15.

robb, I have the pedals already; it's the clips I'm lacking. Or, I have other clips that don't seem to fit.

Soyboy, they're fine. I've been riding mine for a little over a year now and there just as smooth as they were when I bought them. Plus, you can't go wrong for the price.
