Translation please.

I used google translator and it translates into "Hope".

I've seen it used in fields/category. ie CAT Pro,1,2,3/Espoirs

Espoirs = 19-22 years of age, also called Beloften in Belgium where they have numerous races for that category all by themselves

juniors are 18 and under

In Canada we use it synonymously with "Junior" I believe. It's not used widely in the U.S.?
