Pinellas Trail
Just saw the ABC 28 news tonight and there was a piece on finishing the Pinellas trail. Finished means it would circle around the north part of the county and return to its southern starting point along an eastern route down through the county. In essence, making a loop around Pinellas county apprx. 80-90 miles in length. Total cost another 11 million and 10 more years.

That sure would be worth it. Much as I love the current Trail - I live a little ways off of Mile 12 - it does get boring to see the same things every time you ride, and to have to turn around and go through the same things again when you have to go home

Mile 12 would be around the Bay Pines area. I have to travel from Hillsborough County nowadays, so one of the more northern trails is a little closer for me now. But a worthwhile investment in the system nonetheless.

I had heard it would head back south under the Florida Power lines...I too, feel it gets boring doing the same trail over and over..I limit it to once a week max, rest of time I hit the road(I'm in Palm Harbor)
