Timo, why all the uber-lite bits with a Chorus cassette? You could save probably 130-150g with a Tiso or KCNC cassette.

I want some of those wall mounted wheel clamps to hang bikes around my house like artwork! The bike is just crazy. Inspired design for sure. I am not sure if I like it, but the WTF factor doesn't hurt in a world full of bikes that all look very similar for the most part.

Because the Chorus cassette is mounted on a set of also not quite weightweenie Campagnolo Neutron training wheels and because I appreciate some durability that I won´t find in Tiso or KCNC cassettes. Doing 8,000 to 9,000 kilometers a year would minch several überlite cassettes per season.

Many fine examples of beautiful road bikes on this forum. I love them all.
I feel priveliged to present one of my favorites right now, altough I have a few. My 1995 Schwinn Le Tour, 100 Year Anniversary Edition. Chro-Moly double butted, steel main tubes, Shimano 300EX drivetrain with Biopace crankset, 7 speed Shimano cassette, Shimano sealed cartridge BB, Shimano RSX brakes, Shimano 300 Aero brake levers, Araya AL Alloy wheels, Shimano indexed shifters on the downtube and many more goodies, all stock (sans pedals). This bike weighs in at about 24lbs. and I have no problem passing $4500 road bikes all day long. It's currently in the que for a total resto-mod.
BTW, if you know of any like this for sale anywhere, please let me know.

Steel is real. After some 14 years of terrible abuse on harsh pavement, potholes, curbs, you name it, it's still the smoothest ride in town.
