What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

velovie 300r

they put together a 300r velovie frame mated w a 50/34 front and 11/28 rear sram force.

my other frame is an argon 18 and i needed some fast lightweight climbing for club rides and centuries. its an honest 16 lb build w pedals. very powerful frame..its the "stiffest thing" i've had between my legs in years, yet very comfortable...

Great bike! But is it really -87? Looks more like something from the 90´s.

I would upgrade your Cannondale rather than buy a BD bike. Money better spent I think. You have a decent frame.

I'd buy a new bike. Take a look at the chainstay.

"ef, d'"? means what?? I'm still working out the fit, haven't finished the cabling yet or gotten it out on the road, but I'm mostly legs w/ a shorter torso.

Not quite sure what the picture implies but my fore and aft position doesn't necessitate a post with setback.

Its not a carbon speed machine like some of them here. Heck, many of you probably don't consider it a road bike either (technically a CX bike) - but here's my first road'ish bike (I've always ridden MTB).

2010 Tricross Triple - I'm transitioning from being a casual cyclist to an enthusiast. I've been bitten by the bug and I'm loving every minute of it. Hope to upgrade in a few years, but until then, I want to learn learn learn and ride ride ride (just flipped the stem today after learning about it here....love the position so much better).
