Texas Trails
i live in the houston area. what are some good trails. willing to travel up to 4hrs away if the place permits camping.

+1 on the ghorba site. Especially the trail conditions page.
With the rain we have been having, it seem like Jack Brooks has been part of the Gulf of Mexico most of the year. When dry that trail is worth the jump of a trip. Warda (aka Bluff Creek Ranch) is worth the drive, and nice camping grounds too.
