Rear rack recommendation for Swift?

My sweetie and I are planning a Pittsburgh to Washington, D. C. tour and she isn't crazy about the idea of pulling a trailer like I will be (Bike Friday, case, and trailer kit in process). We may buy her a case for the plane trip and send it forward to our final overnight, but this means she will need a rack and panniers. I've done some searching of threads but haven't found anything definitive. Any suggestions among the collective wisdom? Thanks in advance!

I tried the rack on the Swift as an option for holding a trunk bag, or rather a cooler, for an upcoming tropical trip. I tried some panniers on it as well, but with my big feet, heel strike was a problem.
