So does the century absolutely, necessarily needs to be over 100 miles??? I had to do an extra 5 laps around the block to get my ride over 100. Just wondering ...

I didn't know that ... so organized centuries that are less than 100 miles don't count?

Besides, if a century is truely 100.5 miles, then a double century is 201.0 miles.

NO. I make the rules, Ron, and for YOU it is 100.5 or 200.5 (no need to add an extra .5 - that's just cruel).
