threads about tragic bicycle accidents
A local bicycle enthusiast was killed while riding his bike this week where I live. I was thinking of posting a thread to sort of honor and remember him. Not sure which forum is appropriate. Had second thoughts about it anyway. Don't want to discourage readers from riding more. Are such threads welcome here and if so which forum? I was thinking either Advocacy and Safety, General Cycling Discussion, or Foo. The guy was a long time dedicated bicycle commuter, but wasn't doing that when he died.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Yes, they are. The sticky will guide you to a spot where people will not debate endlessly at who was at fault, but simply be a place where one is able to reflect on the loss of this cyclist in peace.
