Wet paint near Philadelphia?
Hi all,
It's time to get my Huffy repainted. The rattle-can paintjob the bike came with is peeling all over the place. Can anyone suggest a good wet paint shop in the area? They can mask the carbon stays from bead-blasting, right? I'm thinking pearl white or bone.
Thanks,
-c

There was a guy at Shirks, in Lancaster County, who used to build frames, do mods, and paint. I don't know if he still works there.

Yeah, I saw one just like that at Walmart the other day. Except the paint was still in good shape.

Honestly, I don't know. Got it on the bay for $300. Definitely Italian, Deda 14.5 steel tubing, Deda carbon fork and seat stay. Resembles a Viner exactly except the cable boss is on the head tube. Nice enough ride, I think it's worth splurging on a new paint job. The original is chipping all over the place.
Thanks for the Maaco tip, I'll ask. If they're too much hassle I might just bring it to the builder who did this. I'd send it to the painter who did this but he's in Milwaukee.

Maybe it's just me, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw that bike's picture was that somebody stuck a huffy decal on a nice bike just for laughs.

Yeah, though my reply was genuine, I think I've been taken.
