Front Heavy

Front Heavy
When you first started riding a proper bmx bike did the front seem heavy to you? Because it does for me. It is hard to get it up high enough to bunnyhop higher than 3 inches. Does anybody have anytips on this?

it was more like back heavy to me. you should try crouching down and popping up if it makes sense

practice doing wheelies without pedaling. then start trying to level the bike out. bunnyhopping isn't just a matter of lifting both wheels at the same. you need to lift the front then level out with the back.

Here are the pics.

I like the Kink bike even though most of you will say its crap. i got a good deal on it and a warranty for free. And it is 1000 times better than my old bike below that i found in the street. Then i added some stuff to it.

Hey, it should be alright for a person getting into bmx right? I won't be doing anything huge until i get better which will take a while. You think it will last me a while? It was one of the only bikes that i could afford and i really wanted to get into Bmx. I knew it was 1020 hi-ten when i bought it. It feels nice and i like it. But, it should be good for a begginer right?

So long as it isn't a Wal-Mart bike it should hold up fine for a beginner.
I've never thought of putting the bars back at an angle for bunny-hopping. I should try it I think.

Although if it is only 6" high he might not be able to grind it at all. His tires would be on the ground and his pegs an inch or so above the [whatever he is going to grind on].

Pegs do actually matter. If you don't think so, then I will gladly trade you my pegs for yours. Mine wear through extremely quickly and don't slide so well.
As for your question, get some Kink Lights, or be like me and wait for the G-Sport Plegs to come out.
