Fork Problem

The fork on my big hit has burrs on the stanchions causing my seal to wear away and my fork to leak oil and air. My question is: should i send my fork to marzochi or to the local bike shop? Is it more costly to buy a new fork or to have the labor to seal installed and the burrs buffed out?
stanchions

any help needed

I'm guessing you have scratched stanctions. If so, then if it's not too deep, get some clear nail polish, and add a layer or two, it should help.
