I realize this is like a shot in the dark, but anyone doing the Marshfield Cranberry Century next Sunday? One of the last times I did it I recall there being something like 140 riders and only 20 nuts enough to do the 100.

Looks like I qualify again this year. Anyone else? Very pretty scenic ride, btw, if you haven't done it.

Probably take you two hours to get there, about 1:15 to Point, then another :45 to Marshfield.

Do you have some routes on routeslip? I think I road one of yours the other day. Black Creek/Seymour route. Nice ride!

Yeah, I like routeslip, it has been the easiest to use. I need to get on and update some routes.

I must be one of the nuts. I just rode Door County Century, so this will be my second in eight days. Guess that makes me double nuts. But I have places in Door and Marshfield and split time between both, so all I have to do is roll out of the garage for either event. The roads around Marshfield are very bucolic and the roads for the most part are lightly traveled on the course.

I did both the DC and the marshfield rides a few years ago. What a rough week.

Thanks for the map, I'll be doing some riding on the course saturday. There is some fresh blacktop close to the start, so that should be nice. Thankfully, my mom's house is about a mile or so from the start, so I can just coast downhill to get there.

What time is everyone planning on getting there? Want to start out together? I plan on a 18 mph pace, give or take.

One quick note I just remembered about this route for those who haven't done it. It looks like mostly the same route as in years past and there's a left turn about a quarter way down a pretty decent size hill. I think it's that left onto County Road CC around the 16 mile mark. Miss the turn and you're in for a fun downhill, but not so much of a fun ascent back up. I've seen people miss or nearly miss that intersection almost every time I've ridden.

Of course, if you're up for hill repeats, that's a good one.

I did it last year, and I'm planning to do it again this year. It's a very nice ride with managable hills. You're right though about only 20 or so people actually tackle the century. It can get pretty lonely after you pass that 60 mile cutoff point and continue on for the full century. But I like the ride because its close to home.

Last year we had wind and rain to contend with. It looks like nice weather this year, albeit with a chilly start.
