Woohoo! Birthday present to me!

So I FINALLY got my new wheels, after months of anticipation, ON MY 21st B'day, would you know?

They are Rolf Prima Vigor's in black (the ones in the pic are the RS version, but mine are the superlight SL's for skinny b*stards like me!). They are sooooo pretty and the hubs spin forEVER. The freehub body is next to silent, though, so watch out on the roads of Irvine, as I might be sneeking in to draft you!

The ride of my CAAD7 is 10x improved over the Wh-R550s I was on!

Happy birthday to me!

-Steve

So were you looking for another birthday present for yourself at the demo last night?

Why when I was 21 we only had stone wheels. And they were stuck to walls.

Birthday present? No, I think that Super6 qualified as a midlife crisis, and I hope not to be due for one of those for another two decades or so.

-Steve

PS My apologies to anyone currently undergoing said midlife crisis.

None taken, but I don't refer to my midlife crisis as that. Mine is simply known as Ladies Night at Barrigan's.

Nice wheels. Glad you're a skinny b@stard cause those suckers would last my fat b@stard butt about 5 miles max!

I guess I'm starting my midlife crisis at 34. I borrowed one of the Super6s from the Cannondale rep for a week to see how I like it compared to my Systemsix. Since they are not doing a Systemsix in our team colors next year, I am 90% sure I'll be on a Super6.

For a Super6, I would start my midlife now... It rode sooooo nice. Super stiff, super light, and drop dead sexy. Have yo useen the S6 Ultimate? That white paint job is sooooo hott...

Ok, I need to take a rest now, that was some pretty intense salivating!
