Resources for the beginning racer

Hey all,

I'm trying to put together a resource portal for new racers. I only know of a couple of good sites with racing tips and listings for local races, rides, and teams. One of them is Chicago Bike Racing and the other is Start Bike Racing. These sites are local to Chicago and the Twin Cities respectively.

Thanks for your help.

The ECCC has a good amount of information in the "Ask a Pro" and FAQ sections. There are also some great PDFs linked from the Quaker City Wheelmen homepage.
