Some new signs today (they weren't there on Tuesday) at the junction advising they'll be sealing (and laying gravel on?) the Northgate road from Oct. 1-5, with the road completely closed on the 3rd and 4th. The Southgate and summit roads will remain open.

In other news, spring break for creepy crawly things (aka tarantulas) seems to be winding down. I saw just 2 of them today, wandering around and looking lonely. Good thing, or else a few of them might end up sealed into the Northgate road.

Sounds like they'll be giving it the same treatment as Redwood Rd earlier this month, which means it'll be unsafe to ride on until the end of October.

At least they are working on the roads..
