Greetings from Canada

Hey all,

I'm new to the forum so I thought I'd introduce myself. Im from Barrie, Canada (1 hour north of Toronto) and I have taken a strong interest in mountain biking.

I'm riding a 21 speed Univega mountain bike with a duallie suspension but want to upgrade to something better this winter.

I've been doing some research and my choice thus far is for a good quality hardtail bike. I prefer riding trail XC/Trail category (the DH stuff is too crazy for my skillset).

My brother has a couple of nice KHS bikes that I have been able to borrow and they both blow my POS Univega away. I'm still doing some research as I want to explore the used bike market too,

I've heard that KHS is nice...not that I have any personal experience. My husband's not fond of the downhill thing either, so we usually stick to XC/trails as well. He's not nearly as crazy as I am .
