Bikes: wifes bike-853 pro team custom, ultegra My bike-custom sniper frame 853 full duraace

My new bike is complete!

My buddy I rode with in high school helped me with my new frame. He builds ti frames and Reynolds 853 steel with no lugs and sloping downtubes. I was able to cut the tubing and notch everything with his help and he tigged it together. What an art this is building a frame. The hardest part was finding someone to paint in central PA. Does anyone know what happen to Fresh Frames (Bryan Myers)?

That's a sharp looking bike. Did you pattern the design and geometry after an existing frame?

I did not have a bike up till now. I went to Shirks bike shop in east earl PA (Lancaster) and they sized me up by one of their techs that went to Serota school for sizing. I was his first size when he came back from school. Look up https://sniperracing.com to see where it was done.

FYI - Shirks was featured in last months Bicycling magazine.

Thanks for the comment
