About an hour and a half into Illinois it occurred to me that i forgot my shoes in Iowa City.
Don't suppose anyone has a size 10 1/2 SPD cleats not being used...
I may end up golfing instead...

Wow, you're really a BFNIC'er at heart aren't you? I wonder who's going to forget their helmet or water bottles this time? Probably me. I have an extra pair of shoes in 46 that might fit ok (I'm a 10 1/2 -11 depending on the maker). They have eggbeater cleats on them so a pedal swap will be neccessary too which I can take off the other bike. I'll be on a red Giant.

Wow you are dedicated. Now I feel like a wuss thinking 200 miles round trip was too far for a 65 mile ride.
And here I thought the "I" in BFNIC stood for Illinois.

I have a pair of 10 1/2 spds shoes. I will bring them. You can give them a shot and see if they will work.
I also have extra shoes with no cleats mounted. Let me know if I need to bring those.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, I'm so sorry... if I could help I would... but I doubt a size 7 women's shoe is going to help at all
but it sounds like you might have it worked out anyway.... what a great group of guys we've got here
Have fun with the ride... I wish I could make it ... next time.

Have fun while I'm stuck in Mankato, MN at some wedding for some chick my wife hasn't seen since graduating from college 10 years ago. What a suckfest, I really wish I could ride.
