Foot Pegs on the Front Wheel
A thought occured to me while riding my Bacchetta Giro 20. Seemed like having some BMX-like foot pegs on the front wheel could be fun, so I could rest my feet when coasting or even steer with my feet.
Has anyone else tried something like this.

No that's not what I mean to tell you. But its true.
I've considered them, but with the hilly urban riding I do, I'm not sure I want them.
So may I assume that you have never thought about pegs on the front axle.

Maybe you could start the hot new trend of doing BMX jumps in a recumbent!
Another brilliant idea: Forget the foot pegs, put a unicycle wheel on front. In normal riding, the pedals would just flail around without hurting much. Then for really steep hills, you could stand on 'em and go up unicycle style.

Actually, being able to pull on the pedals makes them pretty handy on hills. If you have to start on a hill, all you have to do is make sure you start in a low enough gear and you're fine (same as on platforms).
