I would like to get smooth [bmx style] tires for my MTB. I was wondering how much faster I would be with them? Also, would it be easier?

you mean when riding on roads?
depends on what you ahve now, what kind of tire pressure you are currently running, and what psi you could run with the new tires.

But yes, they would make youfaster while riding on roads.

Greatly depends on what you have now. Unless you have very aggressive nobbies, the difference probably won't be as great as you think. That said, that is all i run, is slicks on my mtb's, the wider the better IMO.
