Size of bike-relative to height
I'm looking to buy a mountain bike in the 200-400 range, and I was wondering what size tires I should look for. I'm 6'1" and i definitely don't want to get a bike that's too small. any advice?

I'm 5'9" and I ride a 18" Stumpjumper and a 17" Moment, but the Moment feels bigger than the Stumpjumper; and I've met guys that are 6'0" and ride 17" bikes. My point being that (i) it's hard to know for sure what size will fit you until you ride a few bikes and (ii) the size that fits you may vary depending on which company you go with.
All of that being said, I would think that you would likely need a large (19") bike.

I'm 5'11" and I fall in between a large (19" or so) and a Medium (17.5 - 18"). I can go either way but I prefer a smaller bike to have better handle on it. It's less weight to haul ass up hill too.
I have a medium (17.5") Specialized Stumpy.

On a similar note, if you are in between sizes would you go the size bigger or the size smaller ?
