hello from austin texas
just joined up. been riding fixed gear for almost a year, figured its about time i get some culture/knowledge going now that life has slowed down a bit. need some friends in this big world of cycling, and some help on upgrading my bianchi pista now that i am into the groove of everything. time to learn how to tinker on my machine!

Start off slow over in the SS/FG forum--they don't mind answering questions if you look as if you've tried to find the answer, but they are a surly lot if they suspect you haven't done the homework .

This is a natural assumption. The hubris of us fixed gear riders is quite ridiculous.
