opinions on ebay flashlights

Flashlight1
Flashlight2
# Flashlight Bulb : CREE 225 lumems
# ON/OFF click switch end cap
# Operated Voltage : 3-9V
# Operated by : 2x CR123A Battery OR 1x 17670 Rechargeable Battery (NOT included)
# 2x Ultrafire protective CR123A rechargeable battery
# World voltage charger with US power cord
# Knight's style mount for 20mm rail
# Remote pressure switch (with 5 mode function)
# 5 operation mode control by ON/OFF click switch end cap.
# (Max, High, Low, Strobe and SOS signal)

Pros and cons of on/off via bezel turning or push button? Think I would prefer a button. The remote seems like a good idea for helmet mounts.

Bikes: Too Many

Ebay just adds to the cost. Go directly to the wholesale source that also sells retail to anyone with free shipping on most items.

If it has a plastic lens consider a replacement flashlightlens.com. A glass lens with ar coating really is an improvement over a scratched plastic lens, although the plastic lens will not shatter.

Be wary with these, sometimes they will claim to have a CREE or Luxeon emitter, but will have a cheap Chinese-made emitter or a noticeably coloured reject instead. Buyer beware!

no real criticism of the flashlights other than the price/vendor and possibly lens so that's good. have asked vendor about lens. gotta wait until next week to buy - $ is a little crazy right now.

spoke too soon I guess that is a big concern. purchased a nano clone and it would overheat instead of charge. the replacement was OK; somebody else said theirs was set up for Chinese so they couldn't navigate the menus.
