bottom front chainring

I bent i think about 4 teeth on my bottom front chainring. in this book i have it says its possible to bend it back. good idea? bad idea? u tell me. also ive seen chainrings around for sale do they sell the bottom front? or will i have to buy a whole new crankset?

try bending it, its cashed out anyway. Might as wel try to salvage it. Just get some vice-grip pliers and go slowly, making sure you bend it back at the same place so it wont have a bulge. Good luck.
