Pretty interesting new pedal here. Using some of TIME's ideas and stripping it down to a minimalist piece of equip.

The "Egg beater"...
Hahah, I'm a bit dubious to it's minimalist appearence, but it should keep those weight weenies happy!
Wonder when it's available

I saw that article the other day. When they say minimalistic design they aren't kidding. I'd be interested in trying a pair out and comparing them to my Time's. The quality should be good as Cook Bros has been around for a long time and puts out fine products.

Time's have 15 0or 20 degrees depending on which cleat you mount on which shoe (the cleats are designed asymetrical for this purpose). 6 degrees seems pretty common for most MTB pedals. Since the design of the retention is nearly identical to Time's, I wonder if you could use Time cleat's and get more float out of them.
Boomer - the co. making them is CRANK Bros., not Cook Bros. I made the same mistake as you when I first read it. I'm not familiar w/ Crank Bros., are you?
