Ask at local bike shops, ones that seem to be more serious and have the better bikes. Also do internet searches on variations of "bicycle racing Albequerque", "bicycle club Albequerque". I was able to find a couple of groups here in New Orleans that way. I would think there are plenty of opportunities in that area. If that doesn't do you any good, you might do the same for Colorado Springs then contact the clubs there. In this area the racers seem to know many of the people in the clubs in other cities because they go all over the state to races. So someone in CS might know people in Albequerque or at least the names of the clubs.
