How the heck do you fold your cycling shorts?
OK, I admit I can be a doofus from time to time. But this really has me stumpified.
I can't seem to fold my cycling shorts in such a way that they fit nice and neatly in my dresser drawer. Cycling shorts are shaped weird, and the chamois isn't cooperating!!
Now I know why we hang them at the shop. Ya' can't fold 'em.
Note: I'm no neat freak, but one of my pet peeves is unfolded, wrinkled clothes.

I roll mine up and secure it with a sweatband. That way when I grab one and toss into a travel bag, I'll always have a headband, which is a pain for me if I forget.

Uhmmmm....I don't fold my shorts. I just toss them in the drawer. They don't wrinkle, and I don't let their unfoldedness bother me.

My regular drawers are full of t shirts from various sporting events. I have a hobby closet. One half if diving gear, wet suits, etc. Dive bag on floor.. The other half is cycling gear.. I hang my cycling shorts and Jerseys like they do at the bike shops. That way I can choose which jersey fits my mood for the day, a little easier. That closet is too small for all the gear within. Helmets, socks, Heart Rate monitors, sweat bands, bike shoes, dive BCD, it is all put together in the seperate halves.
If my wife would not let me have a sports closet in the computer room, I have no idea where it would all go..

I hang them inside-out on a hanger that has little clamps on it. They air dry fast and in the closet they go (does anyone dry them in the clothes dryer, I thought that was a big no-no).

By the way, I toss mine in the dryer, too. So you might keep that in mind when you read my posts.
Cool gif!

I'm glad I could make you all laugh, even if it was at my expense. If it makes you feel any better, since I'm the "FNG" at my bike shop, they are all abusing me when I ask stupid questions, as it is a rite of passage.

The dry cleaners puts a nice crisp crease down the center of the leg and then put's them in their trade mark bag.
They hang in the cedar lined closet in order of day-of-the-week. Red is Monday, Orange is Tuesday, Yellow is Wendesday, etc.

Don't feel so bad -- I'm a single mom and I just throw my bicycle shorts and pants in their drawer. Of course my 14-year old son throws EVERYTHING in his dresser drawers or a laundry basket on the floor in his closet. LOL

Mine hang on a hook in the shop.
Come to think of it, I don't even have any drawers. My wife uses them all.

Roll em! I also roll my jerseys... That's the : bachelor/traveler trick...
Its not so much to keep them from wrinkling but they are easier to track/find in the drawer... Esp if you have matching shorts and jerseys.
