How Dew

Greetings from Southern Maine. After several years of waning interest, my wife and I had our passion for pedaling piqued anew by a trip to Great Cranberry Island off Bar Harbor this past Summer. Figure its past time to replace the 20 year old Trek Antelope and the 15 year old Iron Horse mountain bike with a couple of decent fitness bikes suitable for gentle rides along the coast. Any ride suggestions would be welcome. For the record, I'm mid-50's, she's early 50's (but looks a lot younger).

Hello RJ, you could wander over to the regional forums and check in with the Maine folks there about ride suggestions. I know you already got your wife the Trek 7.5 FX, and you're deciding on one for yourself, so I'll just tell you to enjoy the riding .

Welcome to BF!

Hi! I'm also in southern Maine. There is plenty of good riding around and a lot of different resources for info, such as Bike Coalition of Maine web site, Eastern Trail web site, and Seacoast Area Bike Routes (SABR) web site.
