New Member Greetings from Maryland
Quick note to say hi and introduce myself to the forum. Not sure why it took so long to find the site but it looks great!
Have been riding for a number of years, more for personal enjoyment, really fond of long distances. Long term goal is to ride across the US in the summer of 2007 - hope that works out.
Have ridden a number of bikes over the years but the garage currently holds a 2003 Merlin, Trek 7000 ATB, and a Cannondale r2000 tandem I just rebuilt. Also have a very nice Harley but the Merlin has seemed to garner to primary riding time this year.
Anyway, thanks for listening, looking forward to the forum.

Welocome aboard. So how do you like the C'Dale tandem? If I could get my wife interested enough in cycling, that would be the brand I'd get!

Cannondale tandem is great, can actually adjust to fit a numer of size differences - tandems in general are great in allowing two people with differing abilities to ride together, enjoy some time, and not end up with the waiting and racing game. Don't get out to often but now the kids are riding with me also.

Hiya, Dave! We're practically neighbors; I'm in northern PG County.
How old are your kids and where do you ride with them?
(I have a 9-year-old son and we ride mostly on the Anacostia Tributary trails.)
